Here at Clever Bee Early Learning for Reconciliation Week, we focused on trying to teach our friends about the history of Indigenous people and their cultures, through a variety of different art and craft experiences as well as story times where the kids were able to choose a dream time story for the day.

Last week for international Bee day our friends here at Clever Bee Early Learning enjoyed being able to learn about Bees and their importance to the ecosystem.

Each room did their own age appropriate and fun activities and loved being able to share this experience together.

The last few weeks here at Clever bee have been packed with projects and fun activities, watch the space for the updates.

Our Mother’s Day week was a fun experience for our kids as well as our families. We were able to enjoy having our mums join us at the centre for a fun afternoon or bouquet making, cup cake designing, story telling and colouring in.

Poppy flowers - a symbol of remembrance, for those who fell in war and conflict.

Our Nursery friends enjoyed making their own poppy flowers for their Anzac Day Activity. A fun way to encourage fine motor skills, and creativity skills, as well as visually teaching the children about Anzac.

Happy Easter family and friends, today we had our families join us for a fun and egg-citing Easter egg hunt. The children loved being able to run around and search for Eggs with their friends and their families before sitting down for some delicious treats.

Here at Clever Bee Early Learning, we provide a variety of fun munch and move activities for our children. One of those activities include the amazing Happy Feet Fitness program that come in every week to engage with our Toddler and Preschool friends. This incursion is centre paid so no one misses out.

Each week Happy Feet Fitness come in with activities that help children enhance their fine motor and gross motor skills, their team-building skills, their imaginative exploration skills, and their fundamental movement skills.

Our Babies have really enjoyed learning about themselves these last few weeks. One of the activities we set up was a face match activity, with a little help here and there, our babies were able to place the facial features in their correct placing. Here at Clever Bee Early Learning, we try out best to provide age appropriate experiences for the children, as we work together to help each child reach their goals.

W - W is for Worm. This week in our preschool room, our friends have been focusing on the letter W. “What starts with the letter W?” One of the answers that caught the children’s attention and peaked their interest was “Worm”. To extend on the children interest we were able to learn about the life cycle of a worm, their purpose and why they’re a great helpers for gardens. Today in our Toddler room, our friends have been engaging in cutting and pasting activities and working toward enhancing their fine motor skills.
